Q: I have just purchased the extension, downloaded the tgz/winrar file, uploaded through magento connect and it error'd out saying it was a
corrupt file, i now cannot access my admin panel and receiving an error 503. Any help please?
A: For the 503 website not access, magento create a maintenance.flag file on the root while installing the extension and it might have not been deleted so please check on the root folder for this file and delete it. The problem will be fixed.
Below are steps for resolving te issue:
1. Open FTP or File Transfer software which you have or you can use cpanel for opening the files on the server
2. On the Root folder i.e. /var/www/public_html/ you will find the maintenance.flag file.
3. Delete the file maintenance.flag
4. Refresh the website URL and its done.
